John: 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Getting straight to the point on this one. I know. So unlike me! But this can’t wait. My greatest joy is found in Jesus. He is the source of ALL my joy. My secret is out. Accepting Christ was the single greatest decision I ever made in my life. I knew I had said and done things that were wrong, and I knew I could not save myself. I knew I needed Him. I needed guidance, and help, and hope. And all of that comes from the Lord.
If you are not a Christ follower and you feel Him tugging at your heart, this is the day to make the decision to follow Him. We are all going to serve someone after this life, and I can tell you, I want to serve Him. Are you tired? Are you over feeling uncertain about your life and your future? Do you want joy despite your circumstances? Do you want peace that defies understanding? He is the answer.
Matthew 11: 28 – 30 – Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart. and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Joy with Jamie is just a reflection of all the good God has poured into my life. It is meant to be a light to those who are lost. If you feel Him calling you today, don’t wait. You are not promised one moment past this very moment here on this Earth, and He won’t call you forever. The life He has for us after this one is all about joy!
Revelation 21:4 – He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
To accept this free gift, just tell God you know you’ve done wrong. Tell Him you know you cannot save yourself. Tell Him you want Jesus to come into your life, fill you with the Holy Spirit and all the amazing gifts that come with that. Tell Him you want him to be the Lord of your life and to guide your steps. He will, and He will give you joy, and peace that defies understanding, hope, and a future.
