My mom loves the birds, and she has feeders everywhere! This gorgeous sunflower, along with two smaller ones, came up by our mailbox. I am sure a bird dropped the seeds there, from one end or the other. Sorry about the mental image. I stopped the car dead in its tracks when the joy hit me. I jumped out and took this photograph. Not only got the beautiful sunflower, but I caught a little bumble bee hard at work too. Joy!
