What is Joy with Jamie?

Joy with Jamie is all about helping you find joy in life, despite your circumstances. By sharing the joys I discover in my own messy life, you will learn the secrets to hopefully help you do the same in yours.

My goal is to be as transparent and honest as I can be. You’re worth it! Please be prepared. I am not holier than thou. You may not even agree with everything I do and say. Pretty sure you won’t. I mess up daily and still have some strongholds to deal with. But I am running the race to win, and I get better every day.

This blog is written by me as if I am talking to you, because I am. So, please excuse any freedoms I take with my writing style. This blog is also NOT going to be perfectly PC. That means politically correct for those of you who have been hiding under a rock and haven’t heard that term before. I approach life first and foremost as a Christ follower, so everything I say is said with love.

There will highs and lows as you do life with me. You will laugh and cry. We’ll go on adventures. We’ll learn and grow in ways that will hopefully help us us live our best life. We’ll discover cool stuff. We’ll mature as Christ followers, or if you aren’t a Christ follower, you just might decide you’d like to be. And throughout our journey together, I pray God will guide us.
